$60,160 Minimum Starting Base Pay* + KPI Bonuses + Competitive Benefits
Qualifications may warrant greater starting base pay within the full pay range. Individual base pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
Position Summary-
This position is responsible for assisting the management team with project management of strategic initiatives, administering, and supporting project management methodologies, training and project management software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-
- Develop, coordinate project scheduling, logistics, budgeting and administrative activities
- Manage projects within the established scope, schedule and budget
- Assist with and define the project objectives, requirements and assumptions
- Assist with the oversight of risk management efforts, identify and mitigate risks
- Assist in development and execution of communication plans and monitor throughout completion of projects
- Report project status to internal stakeholders and the project team
- Provide continuous feedback on project status
- Offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet business requirements
- Identify resources, schedule conflicts and changing of the project scope
- Communicate identification and resolution of business and project issues
- Monitor, track and report on project deliverables
- Record meeting minutes and action items during meetings and follow up
- Assist in the development of presentations
- Assist in development of business cases and documents for projects
- Facilitate, mentor and guide project management methodology for the organization
- Develop and maintain workflow diagramming, scope management and communications
- Assist the organization with process improvement strategies
- Assist in development of plans and prioritize recommendations
- Configure, administer, support and train project management software to others
- Define and manage metrics for project and department success
- Develop and assist in identifying success metrics to align with key performance indicators
- Facilitate all areas of project management life cycles
- Maintain the security of confidential information
- Stay abreast of advances in technology
- Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Supervisory and/or Leadership Responsibilities- Supervise resources and activities related to the project.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-
- Knowledge of using computers and computer systems, including hardware and software to set up functions, enter data or process information
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of work flows and how they affect business functions
- Knowledge of project management concepts, practices and procedures
- Skilled in time management
- Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing and changing priorities
- Skilled in identifying, analyzing and resolving problems
- Ability to interface with all levels of management and employees
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to listen to and understand information verbally and in writing
- Ability to set priorities
Minimum Qualifications- (Education, Experience, Certification & Licensing)
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Directly related experience may substitute for education
- Three years of project management experience
- Valid Texas Drivers License
