Digital Marketing Specialist

Minimum starting pay for this position is $72,320.00 annually or commensurate with experience.

Position Summary

The position is responsible for the user experience, functionality and maintenance of the Cooperative’s websites and assisting in the coordination and distribution of digital marketing and communications initiatives.

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance, expansion, quality assurance and testing of cooperative’s interactive and responsive website and other digital applications
  • Assure web server and site technical performance
  • Manage the production of online content internally and externally from product concept through production, including product updates, web pages and revisions
  • Work closely with departments to consult and assist in design of website and user experience
  • Ensure that the Cooperative's website provides up-to-date and comprehensive product/service information that is easily available to existing and potential members
  • Develop, assess, and communicate website usage and security policies and standards
  • Collaborate with team members to distribute corporate messaging via digital mediums, including website, email, digital marketing and mobile applications in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Apply and enhance best practices related to online marketing and digital communications
  • Oversee planning and execution of digital projects, production schedules, and quality assurance
  • Manage the implementation of digital marketing programs and analyze their effectiveness to drive traffic
  • Establish and manage the relationships with search engines and portal sites that are strategically aligned with the digital goals
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to optimize marketing effectiveness and enhance user experience
  • Gather and evaluate web analytics and metrics to be used for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs
  • Review and prepare recommendations and guidelines related to new technology, emerging standards and media

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data or processing information
  • Knowledge of CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, PHP and other programming languages and development tools
  • Knowledge of digital communications and marketing
  • Knowledge of web development best practices
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Knowledge of new media platforms
  • Skilled in translating corporate messaging into digital-friendly formats
  • Skilled in time management
  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing changing priorities
  • Skilled in planning and organizing projects
  • Ability to translate information to a variety of digital media formats
  • Ability to work under deadlines, conduct multiple tasks and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to foster cooperation, rapport and teamwork while participating in group projects

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensing)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Directly related experience may substitute for education
  • Three years’ experience in Digital Communications, Web Development or Marketing
  • Valid Driver’s License
